Can someone from Parking contact the people these visitor passes were assigned to? These cars have parked around Wooster Square on a daily/near-daily basis for months/years as "visitors," and are currently occupying limited spaces along the park ahead of street sweeping. Perhaps educating the people who gave them these passes on appropriate vs. inappropriate use of these passes would be helpful. More broadly, can Parking consider electronic monitoring of visitor passes? With hundreds of new units being built in Wooster Square, it is predictable that some new tenants will gain possession of visitor passes, and then inappropriately occupy street parking spots, since visitor pass infractions are exceptionally difficult to enforce at this time. This may be prevented by requiring "visiting" cars to register their license plates. Several other cities have adopted this approach. We currently have an opportunity to fix this problem before it gets significantly worse, and I hope Parking will take action! :) Visitor Tag V11667 - Wisconsin ABN8377, Silver Volkswagen Stationwagon Visitor Tag V11639 - Florida 464AHL, Grey Honda Insight Visitor Tag V11315 - Connecticut 162ZLV, Blue Volkswagen Golf
