Parking Violation/Abandoned Auto

A black Chevy Suburban had been parked in the illegal, no standing, zone for 4 days and no one has ticket or towed it. This evening the trunk was popped open and remains that way 6 hrs later. I reported it to the New shaven police at 5:39 and was told someone was going to check It out. It is halloweenand lots of children in the neighborhood. So far no one from the police department has looked on or checked. abandoned out of state vehicle with open trunk - and no police investigation despite a registered complaint.
